LEARN

Every month, we go deep on a foundational lever of midlife health – the basics, done well, that actually move the needle. Trending topics get their own space in mini-episodes for subscribers. From long-form interviews with the experts doing the work to real women putting the science into practice, we are creating your roadmap, one month at a time

HOW IT WORKS

The Four-Week Arc of Every Track.

Every track unfolds over four weeks.
Our Hype Squad of real women share what they’re currently navigating in midlife. A world-renowned expert breaks down the science on how to improve your healthspan. The Hype Squad tests it in real life. Then we pull it all together so you know how to age well based on the science. You walk away knowing what to try, what to skip, and why it matters.

ASK

Cindy sits down with the Hype Squad to open the month’s topic together: what each woman is navigating, what she’s tried, and what she’s hoping to learn. Three real perspectives on the same season of life.

ASSESS

Cindy interviews a world-renowned expert. Someone doing the actual work in the field, not just talking about it. Together they unpack what the science actually says, and the practices worth trying.

APPLY

The Hype Squad puts the expert’s recommendations into practice. Then they come back to share what worked, what didn’t, and what they’d tell their best friend about it. Messy, honest, and useful.

Every month raises a question. Every month, we come back with an answer. Cindy pulls together what the science said and what the Hype Squad lived, so we can take what fits and put it into practice.

THIS MONTH’S DOCUSERIES

SLEEP REWIRED

This month, we’re digging into sleep.
The supplements, the mask, the blackout curtains,
the whole nightstand of things you’ve already tried that still leave you staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m.
By the end of this month, you’ll know which habits actually hold up, which ones are costing you money, and when it’s time to stop blaming yourself and start asking for hormone help.

2: ASSESS

3: APPLY

Testing with VO2 Max and DEXA, and the numbers behind our baseline.

4: ACT

Making moves that help healthy aging feel manageable.

three women. three sleep strategies.

In the first episode of Sleep ReWired, the Hype Squad gets honest about what 3 a.m. actually looks like: the cleaning, the scrolling, the true crime podcasts, the elaborate pillow arrangements, and the hormone shifts nobody warned them about. Next week, we take their questions to a behavioral sleep scientist who has spent her career on insomnia in midlife and perimenopausal women, and whose answer starts with something nobody in the room mentioned once.

Protective and envious. Guarding what works, wanting what we lack.

Hormones, snoring, racing thoughts, and wildly uneven results.

What the good sleepers do, what transfers, and what we still don’t know.

sleep rewired: five SLEEP STRATEGIES to START TONIGHT

Dr. Sara Nowakowski, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist at Baylor College of Medicine and one of the country’s few experts with board certification and diplomate status in behavioral sleep medicine, sits down with Cindy to unpack why midlife women struggle with sleep. She walks through her research on the science of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), what perimenopause, menopause, and nighttime hot flashes do to your rest, her research on how men and women differ in sleep, and the no-cost fixes for better sleep that start with knowing your own body.

DR. SARA NOWAKOWSKI,
PHD, CBSM, DBSM

Her 2026 pilot trial, published in Menopause, found that 69% of women who received her tailored cognitive behavioral therapy had no clinically significant insomnia after eight weeks, compared to 30% in the control group. It also reduced the daily interference caused by hot flashes. Here’s what she wants every woman in her 40s and 50s to know, starting tonight.

  • Wake at the same time every day.
  • If you can’t sleep, get out of bed.
  • Get 10 minutes of morning sun.
  • Know your personal sleep target.
  • Focus on quality, then quantity.

last month: your Age that Actually Matters.

Professor Andrea Maier, one of the world’s foremost authorities on healthy longevity, sits down with Cindy to unpack the difference between the number on your ID and the age your body is actually living. She walks through how to measure your biological age, which tests you should be asking your doctor to run, and what the science says you can do to move the needle.

PROFESSOR ANDREA MAIER, MD PHD

Recognized by TIME as a 2026 Leader in Longevity, her research has produced more than 500 peer-reviewed publications and informs how the UN and World Health Organization approach healthy aging. Here’s what she wants to share with every woman in her 40s and 50s.

  • Know your baseline.
  • It’s not one number.
  • Share your wearable data.
  • Turn curiosity into small actions.
