WHAT REALWELL IS
RealWell is a wellness media platform. We publish journalism, expert interviews, and research-based reporting about health and aging in midlife.
RealWell is not a medical provider. Nothing here is medical advice, and using this site does not create a doctor-patient or any other professional relationship. See our Medical Disclaimer for more information.
OUR CONTENT
Everything on this site — articles, videos, podcasts, photography, graphics, the RealWell name and logo — is owned by RealWell LLC.
You may: read, share links, and quote briefly with attribution and a link back.
You may not, without our written permission: republish articles in full, sell or redistribute our material, or use the RealWell name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
TEXT AND DATA MINING, AND AI TRAINING
We expressly reserve all rights to use our content for text and data mining, and for training or fine-tuning artificial intelligence or machine learning systems. This reservation is made under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and any equivalent right under other applicable law, and it applies to all content on this site and in our newsletter and podcast.
Automated access for the purpose of collecting content for AI training is prohibited. Our robots.txt reflects this, and disregarding it does not create a license.
YOUR CONDUCT
Don’t use the site to break the law, harass anyone, impersonate anyone, transmit malware, scrape it with automated tools, or interfere with its operation.
WHAT YOU SEND US
If you send us a comment, message, tip, or submission, you grant RealWell LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and publish it in our reporting, in any medium, with attribution as appropriate. We may edit for length and clarity.
You confirm that what you send is yours to send. Don’t send us anything you don’t want us to have, and don’t send us confidential information belonging to someone else.
CORRECTIONS
We correct errors when we find them and when readers point them out. How we handle corrections is described in our Journalistic Integrity standard.
COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice including: your contact information, identification of the work, identification of the material you say infringes it and where it sits on our site, a statement of good-faith belief that the use isn’t authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you’re authorized to act, and your signature.
We respond to valid notices, and we accept counter-notices from anyone whose material we remove.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
We link to studies, experts, and outside sources constantly as part of how we work. Those sites aren’t ours. We don’t control their content or their privacy practices, and a link isn’t an endorsement.
PRODUCTS AND PARTNERS
We may work with sponsors or partners. When we do, we disclose it clearly. A sponsorship never buys editorial coverage or a favorable conclusion as shared in our Partner Principle.
If we use affiliate links, we say so plainly on the page where they appear. Where anyone appearing in our content, including members of the Hype Squad, has received a product, payment, or anything else of value in connection with what they’re discussing, that connection is disclosed.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
IF PART OF THIS DOESN’T HOLD UP
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between us about your use of the site.
